Enable Spelling Correction in Vim

Applies to Vim 7.0 or newer only.

Vim 7.0 adds on-the-fly spelling detection as a new feature. To enable it, simply add:

set spell

To your .vimrc

If you wish to specify the language use:

set spl=[lang] spell

For example:

set spl=en spell for English.
