Darrell is one of the founding members of the Acadia Geeks collective, joining around 2001 or so. He lent significant portions of Perl code to the original forum site. Darrell followed Vic to Fredericton and back again (A Hobbit's Tale). Darrell and his wife currently live on the outskirts of Halifax (Mordor), where he works for the Dalhousie IT department trying to keep Mt. Doom from crumbling into a pit of despair and lava.
